Here are additional travel information for your travel to Nanjing.

(1) Entrance VISA to China

    Ask your travel agents about how to get your VISA to China.
    (In Japan, travel agencies provide servis of getting VISA without
     formal invitation letter.)

(2) Conference Venue and the Hotel

    Our hotel and the venue of ISFST'99 is:

	Nanjing Grand Hotel
	208 Guanzhou Road, Nanjing 210023, China
	Tel: +86-25-331-1999, Fax: +86-25-331-9498

    Your registration fee includes 5 nights stay at the above hotel
    (Check-in 10/26, Check-out 10/31; single occupancy for experts,
    and twin room share for students). Because this is the special
    discount rate, ther will be no refunds if you will come late or
    leave earlier. 

    If you want to come earlier than 10/26 or stay loner than 10/31,
    the room rate will be US$90.00 per night.

(3) Access to Nanjing

(3-A) By Air:
	There are international flights from Hongkong.
	And also domestic flights from Beijing or other cities.

(3-B) By Train or Bus:
	Nanjing is reachble by train or highway bus from Shanghai
        within 2-3 hours. You may reserve train ticket from outside
	China. Ask your travel agent.

(4) Loacl transportation in Nanjing City

    Please inform your travle schedule to ISFST'99 Secretariat.
    Local arrangemet staff of Nanjing University will see you at
    the airport or train station or bus terminal.
