	Ju Dehua (ECUST, China) 

Mr. Dehua Ju is a professor and Chair of Computer Science at East China
University of Science & Technology (ECUST), and a research scientist at
Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sience.
Prof. Ju was cofounder of a CASE tool company spin-off from ECUST since 1988.
Currently,  he is a director member of Shanghai Computer Society and
executive director of Shanghai Software Industry Society.

His research interests include development of CASE tools, advanced software
engineering environment, software automation, software agent, distributed
computing, Intranet and Multimedia applications.
He has served on several program committees for national and international
conferences.
He was the program cochair of 1996 International Symposium of Future
Software Technplogy (ISFST-96), sponsored by SEA, Japan and UNU/ IIST.

He was awarded the first prize of 1991 Shanghai S&T Achievements and the
second prize of 1992 National S&T Achievements for excellence in research
and application of CASE tools.   He received a "State Distinguished Expert"
award from Chinese government and a talent nominee award in Shanghai
Scientific & Technical Circles.
